I have a 1.5gig CPU, 512 meg ram.........is it my GF2 Ultra card stopping me
from getting full/full in any of my 3d configs?? I am still at full/high.
Just curious now..........I just dropped another 256 in to bring it to
512......maybe I am just expecting miracles??

I'm pretty sure only GF3 and above manage full/full.

I have a GF3 and AMD xp1800 and I don't get full/full
MadDAWG
For me: AMD 1600/GF4 Ti 4400=Full/Full

Hm, I was full/full with a GF3 Ti200 and a 1.4gHz Thunderbird with
128mb PC133 RAM.

What screen res? I run mine at 1280. anything less looks like crap on my 19"
CRT. Just as a side note the TI series cards run better than a standard
GF3.

Surely it should be a *user* option, not a designer one. If I want to run it
full/full on some shitty computer then let me.

1280x1024x16. Dunno if I had quincunx on or not, could never get it
to work well on the Ge3.

If you have Aniso Filtering and/or AA enabled in your Nvidia card settings
it will reduce the results from the game's 3D config program. I turn them
all off, run the config and then turn them back on. Doesn't seem like that
should help, but I do get better FPS results that way.
YMMV... ;-)

have a slow system you might get low/low. Once in the game, you can set it
to full/full. The real issue is poly pushing results of the test. I get
37M triangles which allows me to compare my system to another and see the
impact of various upgrades.
I'm curious what score can be had from an AMD 2800 or P4 2.8Ghz and an ATI
9700 Pro.

Mine says 0.0 tri/sec, and the rest don't work either, so I guess it isn't a
user option on *my* machine, then.

Maybe it's because I'm running Windows XP...
No seriously, my P4 1.8 with GF2 gets 0.0 tri/sec, so the config is screwed
up somehow. The game still works fine though...

It's okay now, I spent a while downloading new/old nvidia drivers. Some of
them work with the 3dconfig, some don't for a PC* reason.
Now I have a number, I am happy (wish it was a little higher though ;-).
