I just downloaded the new 1.1 physics from the simbin sforum and I'm now looking for some good setups for the thing... Matt mentioned somethign about Doug's (A. - that is) setups.. any one know where i can get 'em? Also - where can I find some add-on track to this thing? (LeMans etc.) This thing ROCKS!!! -- ed_ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- $10 says Petter Solberg wins the 2003 WRC.

It's pinned in the official forum: http://www.simmods.com/forums/ (scroll down to the GRT2002 section) Don't know about add-on tracks, but I don't think so (yet). Ice D

I haven't tried to drop any tracks in yet. Too busy at the moment(answering all these "my car only goes 78kph!" :) questions :) ) Anyhow ANY of the add-on tracks for F1 2k2 should drop right into the track folder of GTR. There are some caveates tho. First unless the game.gdb file has the track properly noted, you will only get 5 lap races. 2nd, the fuel calcuations may be off, but you can run some practice laps to determine the fule-useage rate. 3rd, the AI might not behave like they are driving a GT car. dave henrie
Btw. the GTR2002 Tracks are "abwrtskompatibel" i.e. they run in f1 2k2 "Dave Henrie" <[email hidden]> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:gtnI9.151395$[email hidden]...

I know folks have been running it on F1 2001, but why or why don't they release something for a public beta? ;-) GTR2002 / Nordschleife would be halfway to Nirvana (19 drivers online would provide the other half of the ticket to most of us, I'm sure ;-) Best, uwe -- mail replies to Uwe at schuerkamp dot de ( yahoo address is spambox) Uwe Schuerkamp //////////////////////////// http://www.schuerkamp.de/ Herford, Germany \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (52.0N/8.5E) GPG Fingerprint: 2E 13 20 22 9A 3F 63 7F 67 6F E9 B1 A8 36 A4 61

The Simbin team is working on a 2k2 version. Bramzel and Ian have at least tested it. I wasn't aware the 2k1 version was finished or did you mean the track was in a testing phase before public release? dave henrie --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I haven't asked them, but I'm hoping we'll have the final versions of Laguna Seca and Kyalami for the GTR mod as well. 2 of my favorite Simbin tracks from alpha testing and I was disappointed they didn't make the mod. Is it the same (=modern) version that was released earlier for SCGT and Racer? -- - Igor -

I'm not sure, I remember Ian posting that the Simbin effort was not a port of the SCGT track. So I'm not sure, he was editing the track, which I assume started as the same as GPL. (both SCGT and RACER tracks were Converted from the GPL as well.) dave henrie --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
