Flame warOff-topic flame thread on Rumsfeld's resignation

A troll mocked Mitch_A over Donald Rumsfeld's resignation, and the thread became a political flame war over Bush, Iraq and the midterm elections with many personal insults.

I don't follow why rummy "retired" now but at least Bush is trying to throw out an olive branch to the dems it seems. He fully realizes (unlike you) that together WE might beat terrorism, apart we cant (as Iraq shows). I Give all of my support to anyone that believes the islamofacists want to kill all of us given any opportunity (as is the reality of the situation). You and your type on the other hand have this OCD that Bush and the Pubs are the REAL enemy in the world and the Terrorists are only a by-product of republican power. Now it is the Dems chance. After 6 years of screaming how badly things are what will the dems do except play the never ending blame game? We will see, sadly. 3 years of the media saying how poorly the war is going and how bad the economy is can convince all of the gullible fools out their and this election proves it. Just as 8 years under Clinton the economy was "THE GREATEST EVER" despite the incubation of the Enrons of the world, an internet bubble unlike anything ever seen, my taxes nearly doubling along with more and more fee's and regulations passed directly to everyone, relative peace (as the T's were organizing) and yet despite all of the evidence and the ease of hindsight you would still argue against the blatant leftwing media manipulation in the USA. Eventually you will see the truth just as they are now seeing the truth at the BBC. The democrats won big without any kind of actual plans and 6 years of gov obstructionism and for that I congratulate them. Pelosi is talking good things right now but if past history is any indication America just got FUCKED, and 55% are happy about it. Despite this she has my support and I hope she can follow through with some of her less costly plans. Until the impeachment hearings begin anyway... On the State ballot things are different. Arnold wins huge in a fully blue state is almost funny except for the fact Arnold acts like a fn dem most of the time. Prop 87 got beat very badly despite Gore and Clinton shoving it down our throats daily for 3 months. Prop 86 also lost huge as even non-smokers realized raping smokers for more BS gov bureaucracy made no sense. I expect my already over taxed income just took a very big hit because their aint no way in hell the tax reductions will be made permanent now. For that a big FUCK YOU DEM BITCH'S is in order!!!!!! On the good side the Feds are now less able to actually screw us due to the impending stalemate. By-partisan talk is just that.. Talk.... When I see action Ill believe it. Till then its just more political BS. Go ahead and gloat but come next april 15th we will see if youre still smiling. I know I wont be. Never mind that last part. Your allowance from mommy and daddy isnt taxable, yet... All the rest you've commented upon, I now realize, is the result of a raving maniac. It's obvious that this country needs new leadership-- the Republicans have totally messed up America and the world. Alanb

"I don't even watch TV" - Where do you get your talking points? "You are FOX's mouthpiece."- I thought you didn't watch TV? "It's obvious that this country needs new leadership" - Huh? This county needs to find consensus and common ground with one another. In a word, "Unity". That is highly unlikely. Up until Wednesday morning, I think few would argue that Bush maintained a high morale among the general troop population. A true sign of leadership. Of course, I concur the tactical side leaves something to be desired. I would welcome any ideas you might have for a "leader". It would be interesting to see what names and reasons why, we could come up with here. Do you practice being a moron, or is it genetic?
And the soldier went down on a knee somewhere in the Iraqui desert and wiped the sweat off his brow. Looking around he sees he is fighting alongside bitches about as far as they can get from kitchens, laundrys and bedrooms, pooftas and other assorted human trash. He thinks to himself in a confused and disturbed way - "What the fuck am I fighting for again?". "Oh that's right", he remembers. "So I can be "free" to live amongst bitches about as far as they can get from kitchens, laundrys and bedrooms, pooftas and other assorted human trash." "So I can go down to the church and be belted over the head with a bible and taught to sacrifice myself like a bitch or put up with the demented bullshit that those that have go on with on a daily basis" "So i can marvel over the wonderous, long winded rambling of politicians desperate to make me swallow their complete and utter bullshit" He feels someone tapping him on the shoulder and turns around to see a lesbian U.S. troop passing him a joint which he VERY readily accepts. He needs a break from reality - a BIG break! But here comes sarg who is yelling that today we are gunna really haul arse and KICK SOME GOD DAMN BUTT! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Someone" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Now Lancelot, you of all people must surely know - why King Arthur of course! Simple question - how is someone who is a professional bullshit artist (Politician) going to qualify as a "leader". You don't really think that's possible do you? Leaders have balls and brains and thus remind the overwhelming majority of people that have looked down on them all their life - people don't vote for that. If this planet is blessed with a "Leader" any time soon it will have nothing to do with democracy at all. The individual will come to power via military superiority which will be largely due to his allegiance with others of significant military clout and of a "certain" character.
Andrew you were right the first time, you lack..... Balls, knowledge, common sense, foresight, and ability. In other words a perfect 10 to all the other sad liberals out their.... You show a complete failure of intellect along with a partisan moral compass that points directly at San Francisco with your rabid insinuations that the Terrorists are your friends. In case you forget, the Islamofacists hate homo's even more than Pat Robertson and company do and will cut your head off for it, unlike Pat who just looks at homosexuality as a mental disorder brought about by liberal parenting. You should be scared, Nancy Pelosi Harry Reid will sacrifice YOUR safety for political gain as they've proven over and over.. What was the democratic plan again? Oh, you don't actually have one eh.... You wouldn't know reason if it were a bat upside your head and 911 clearly proves that point. In your fucked up fairytale world 911 was a Bush/CIA mission not the POOR flower carrying Terrorists that want nothing but peace for all... Your elitist bullshit shows so very clearly and fits so perfectly with all of your butt buddies propaganda in the media and particularly at the BBC. What was/is Bush's plan? He's never had a plan. Remember, "victory" is a goal, not a plan. > You wouldn't know reason if it were a bat upside your head and 911 clearly > proves that point. In your fucked up fairytale world 911 was a Bush/CIA > mission not the POOR flower carrying Terrorists that want nothing but > peace for all... No, 9/11 was a miserable Bush failure, that has been substantiated by every intelligence official debriefed on the subject. He ignored the Middle East, he ignored anything anybody associated with Clinton told him, and he ignored a memo titled "Bin Laden determined to strike within the US." > Your elitist bullshit shows so very clearly and fits so perfectly with all > of your butt buddies propaganda in the media and particularly at the BBC. "Elitist bullshit," a foreign broadcaster's influence, boy, you're just cutting and pasting right out of the John Birch Society manual. I'll bet your family built a fallout shelter in the 60's. Slogans and random invective, Mitch, that's all you've got. You're a fucking monkey hurling shit around in his cage, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. WS BTW, I've crossposted this reply to a proper political NG, so you can leave these nice folks to discuss racing sims.
[email hidden] (Mitch_A) wrote: > Your elitist bullshitThe truth is Mitch that some people are better than others at reasoning; at seeing every side of an argument, just as some people are better drivers or ranters or cake makers. The ability to see the world in pure black and white is not a talent. It is not admirable. It is the politics of the kindergarten and you and your kind have been damned many times over by your rhetoric. While I trust the average person to be a decent human being of equal value to any other, I do not trust them to have a full grasp of brain surgery, CPU design, or politics. Sadly democracy requires that we pretend they do. Andrew McP

I am not a Republican. I am not a Democrat. I am an American. I believe in Freedom, Privacy, and the right for someone to do as they wish as long as it doesn't harm others. I served to protect all of this. Lately, though, these items do not seem to be of major concern to our current administration, and I think THAT is why a lot of them got booted. That was just the start. Round 2 comes in 2 years. And that's about as far into Politics as I wish to go here. -Larry

Yea, according to the NY Times and the leftwing media.. The reality is if YOU arent a terrorist your privacy is basically unchanged. Just like a person that uses kiddie porn is more worried about Starforce than someone who doesnt :) Im still trying to figure out how in the hell anyone thinks we lost in Iraq. Pure propaganda right out of Joseph Goebles handbook (now known as the democrat handbook). We took over an evil tyrannical government and gave the Iraqi's a free election while only losing 3000 soldiers lives. I don't care what any idiot talking head on network TV says that's a fucking victory by any measure throughout history. Did the administration make mistakes? Of course, Im not blinded by ideology like most dems are. Many of the mistakes including Abu-Gharaib were blown so far out of proportion its plain disgusting and bordering on lies. At the same time the media was in a Abu-gharab frenzy we had T's cutting off innocent peoples heads yet that didn't even make the front page. Leftwing crocodile tears over this war are pure bullshit. YOU must be smart enough to see through the lies. If they were so worried about human life then they would be bitching about the US highway system and the 150,000 innocent Americans killed on them since 2003 or the gang wars going on throughout the USA. But those are not political arguments that can actually give the left/dems power (unlike the spin coming out of Iraq). Ask the troops who is winning or how much good has occurred since 2003 not the Dan Rather BS version. The stories are exactly opposite yet you only hear one side. > > That was just the start. Let's rehash a little here. a) Until 9/11 the U.S. doesn't give a shit about Iraq. George W Bush (The 1st) came up short (gutless) at the gates of Bagdad in 1990 and NATO packed up and went home. Point was made even though seed not destroyed. This lack of guts is becoming a hallmark of U.S. administrations and is akin to the U.S. policy of not bombing Chinese SAM technicians (during the installation of SAM sites) during Vietnam at the expense of their very own pilots. It's all about the big wigs looking after themselves - easy to send others to their death but when THEIR life is threatened it's a different story. b) The U.S. cannot get Bin Laden, and thus take advantage of Hussein's failure to comply with U.N. search criterea as a pitiful attempt to try and save face with their voters and the international audience. c) Now we have a bunch of wankers talking about the installation of democracy and doing the locals a big favour as the killing continues - what bullshit! Maybe they can teach the new president how to get blown by a college whore while they're being force fed American culture? Is there a procedure in place to make sure they put up with disobedint, worthless bitches and faggots - just how far is the Americanization process going to be force fed to the no doubt eternally grateful locals?

Lately, though, these items do not seem to be of major concern to our current administration,....<unquote> Ok, so that's your "position" correct ? Since you said it afterall. So it would seem *you* are the one who needs to explain why you think you're correct. And since the issues you mention, if true, should be very easy to prove, let's see it. Again, show me how - *exactly*- has your freedom, privacy, etc. changed in the last six years (said eight earlier, oops). Unless you want to keep dodging the question that is.
