For Frank's enjoyment: http://firebrand11.stargate.net/GTR2002/ The ones denoted "sharper" has the edges sharpened in photoshop Track textures are from the awesome SLN texture pack which every human being should have downloaded by now. Car textures are desaturated versions of those made by Simbin for GTR and RH for F12k2. Jason
I went to Saturday Night Live's website and didn't find any SLN texture packs. Redirect, pls. --Yer Witness "Jason Moyer" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

You bastard. =) http://sln.m4driving.sm The car textures are private since I've used the original SBDT and Hummerich textures as the base. Jason

Beautiful stuff :) - You thought of asking permission to release these redone textures from RH/SBDT? If we wanted to do this ourselves, are we talking a few hours in Photoshop, or what? Scurrying off to the ISI editing forums... Kendt

For those photos all I did was export the textures in Mas Studio 2002 and then desaturate them across the board by 25%. I'm probably going to reinstall everything again soon and give it another go since I'm not fully satisfied with the results, I was just going for a quick fix. Jason

Near the bottom it has a link called "download here" pointing to http://sln.m4d.sm/f1/tracks/trackpack.htm# but that just points back to the same old page 8-( as can bee seen from the URL). Do you have the URL for the zip or exe file that I could use? I'll try again with Mozilla 1.2.1 later, meanwhile thanks for your help, mate. Uwe, Try: http://sln.m4d.sm/f1/tracks.htm and click on "Full Track Pack" right under the main title ("Tracks"), *not* at the bottom of the pg. --Steve "Uwe Schuerkamp" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

When I downloaded them it opened up another small window that had links to multiple parts of an .ACE file. Must be a browser thing - I've been trying to switch to Mozilla and keep running into little annoyances like this. HTH, Kendt

As far as I remember, the sln track update was broken into 3 or 4 parts. You dload them all to the same folder and then run the exe file which will then combine them into one large file. So when the window opens and presents 4 ace files...that's the track update...those are the files you want. Keep at it.. dave henrie

One more question - the SLN pack I downloaded mentioned changes to 3D objects - did you just let the updates ditch the track changes in GTR2002 (i.e. the changed adverts), or did you have to manually apply the textures to the GTR tracks? The combo of SLN, RH, and GTR updates is starting to get confusing! I'm hoping I could start with fresh F12k2 install, apply SLN textures, then RH's update pack, then install GTR2k2 - sound reasonable? Thanks! Kendt

I just let the SLN tracks overwrite the GTR2002 changes. If you wanted, you could export the FIA GT specific advertisements, desaturate them a bit, and use them as well. Jason
