Hi Eldred,
is this an open chassis race or will it be a spec race using
a fixed chassis for all drivers?
Thanks,
uwe

Oh well - I got high-sided on a dune and couldn't free the car. This is my
earliest exit from one of these things... Cruising in 3rd place, too.
Grrr...
Eldred - back to playing Civilization 3...

In article <[email hidden]>,
[email hidden] says...
I ran out of gas on lap 35. I forgot there's a separate race and
qual setup. Was cruising in 2nd too...
I learned my lesson though, and have already made sure my ring race
setup has a full tank. :)

Check your radiator for a small caliber bullet hole. Then scour the
bystanders for someone who 'looks' like he's trying not to be noticed.
Obviously the work of a Sniper. I know they have ruined MANY a race of
mine. Yeah dat's it!!

I hate to admit it but I retired. When John went there were only two of us
left. I never usually quit like that but another hour on track running alone
was not what the doctor ordered ;)
Thanks for organising things Eldred - I was really missing my racing fix.
Hopefully we'll get a few more for the ring.
Regards and Seasons Greetings

Me too, mine let go on lap 20. I hadn't taken it to the redline.
Don McCorkle
Damn. I had to go out today but I'll be around next week. Had to redress the
monster rank balance instead when I got in :-)

Eldred, I drove it to the end and saved the Gran Prix News.
You can view it here at my mere mortal web page.

Or let me know and I can mail you the .bmp.
my news server has a problem with g-e-o-c-i-t-i-e-s for some reason. See if this goes through.

Yup I forgot that my news server has filtered out anything with g-e-o-c-i-t-i-e-s in it due too spam from that domain. Real smart.
The link was http://www.BANNEDWORD.com/redline426/
Just replace BANNEDWORD with you know what.
And I take it that MHOgaming (my backup) now requires a request for a login/password account now?
I sent email request's to Jacob and the news.cis.dfn.de, hope I get approved. :)))
