GTR2002 Any way to skip the prerace intro?

You know, the slideshow of your course and the tour through the starting lineup. Pretty cool at first but now I'm a bit too ansy to start racing to have to wait through it. Esc or enter don't seem to do the trick...is there a way to skip this? -Tim
