old game/new wheel proplems

alright I got a new MOMO Logitech wheel for Christmas, I can't get the thing to work with 4X4 EVO2, when I set it up vie the Logitech control panel the wheel doesn't do jack! when I try through the game , the game detects some input from the wheel but not all eg. steering, and shifting? any ideas p.s. when using the Logitech profile program, what settings in games should I have set-up for wheel control? any? none etc... Punch
