I reinstalled the latest version of GPL Race Engineer under XP, and I am getting error messages every time I try to open or save a setup. The error message is: "parseTrackIni: Error 52 - Bad file name or number at E:\Games\SIERRA\gpl\tracks\<none>\track.ini". The program still works, but I would like to get rid of the error message. Anyone know what this gibberish means or how to fix it?

I sent an e-mail to Alison awhile back asking the same thing. If I remember correct, she asked her brother Nate about it. He didn't have a Windows 2000 computer to check (this was way before XP came out). The program still works just fine, it just adds a couple of more mouse clicks to get the job done. Not sure on what can be done about it. I race on my XP box and have a Win2000 computer connected to a LAN so I can adjust setups without leaving GPL. I get it on both. Anthony Brooks

I'll check that out and let you know.
