I can't seem to get more then 59% throttle? Is this a known problem with F1-2001? Is F1-2002 worth getting? I was kinda hoping to mod up F1-2001...

Could it be that you have the Pit Lane Limiter set to on? Try hitting the 'L' key when in the car and see if that makes a difference. Regarding F1-2001 vs F1-2002: Get F1-2002 and "mod up", as you say, to the GTR2002 mod. It's better than the original game. It could be the known problem with ISI games seeing split axis pedals properly. F1 2001 and previous ISI games don't see the full axis for either the brake or gas pedal unless you use combined pedals. ISI has always maintained that this is a DirectX problem and only in F1 2002 did they finally provide a work-around. In all of their previous games if you want to use split axis pedals you will need to use DXTweak2 to get the full axis range. DXTweak2 is available at www.wingmanteam.com. To get more details on what you have to do search this group for posts on "DXTweak ISI F1 brake throttle deadzone" or something similar. I would tell you myself but it has been so long since I have had to use this that I have forgotten the details. ;o) "PositiveG" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Hw2T9.238114$[email hidden]... > I can't seem to get more then 59% throttle? > Is this a known problem with F1-2001? Oh, and by the way, using FF on a LWFF in Win2K/XP will cause a massive hit to the framerate of F12001/2 - it's a known bug that Logitech say they can't do anything about.

In your player file, find the settings for the offending axis and set the center value for that axis to either 0 or 1 rather than the default 0.5. "Todd Walker" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Out of thin air and ignorance. My mistake, that was 59Km/h. It's fixed now. "Damien Smith" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:avigv0$ft5s2$[email hidden]... > > I can't seem to get more then 59% throttle? > > Where did you pluck this 59% figure from? > >
