Boy, they aren't kidding when they say Adaptive :) I've been using this, and after a few laps the thing adapts to the point where I can't pass anyone, and no one can pass me either! I'm not really sure if this is something that can really be changed. It's actually what it's supposed to do, but I'm wondering if it's really a good idea now. So far for me, it's resulted in close but boring racing. Larry
It's a cool idea, but a major problem is the AI will slow to a crawl when you pit or crash so you can catch up. --------------------------------------------------- Thanks, Aaron Markham RATE MY CAR AT CARDOMAIN.COM! http://www.cardomain.com/id/amarkham *RIP Ayrton Senna & Dale Earnhardt* "Larry" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:ANw_9.69942$[email hidden]...

I don't think the adaptive AI will be all that great except for a quick race type thing. What I do like is the auto AI skill. That will be great for running a championship season. Once I get 2003 I'll go and run 3 short races at each track to set the AI and then start my championship. Now I won't kill them at Daytona and get killed at Sears point just to get good racing at the other tracks. While it may not truly realistic it will make a season fun and for me that's what these games are about. MadDAWG
