Are they getting into the console racing games development ? Will we be seeing console racers with a bit more sim-racing in their physics perhaps ? Has anyone heard any rumours ? Are they disbanding entirely ?
am i the only person who'd love to see Driver or GTA3 with realistic cars and an online multiplayer world? I think ill be chief of the traffic police, id maintain the law. :) pez "amp green" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:IpV1a.17134$[email hidden]... > Are they getting into the console racing games development ? > Will we be seeing console racers with a bit more sim-racing in their > physics perhaps ? > Has anyone heard any rumours ? > Are they disbanding entirely ? >

GPL2.........................Ya............... I can dream can't I ? I wish they would do GPL2 or a WSC type sim.

What I'd really love is a game like GTA3 that was developed as a venture between Papyrus and the team that did the NOLF games. Papy could handle the driving physics and such, the NOLF team could handle the out-of-vehicle stuff. Give it a persistent fictional world set in the 60's and it would be like heroin for spy/gangster fans. I'd still rather have a CART sim tho. Jason

One thing you do NOT have to worry about is Nascar 2004. NR2003 is the last one. Until EA's license runs out and Nascar regains it's grip on reality. At least one can hope. Larry "Sylvain Bouard" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:b2bdf3$f64$[email hidden]...

Despite all the hooha on the various message boards. EA does NOT have "exclusive" rights to the NASCAR license. Sierra chose not to renew their license for NASCAR.
