I posted my problem (below) to this newsgroup and got a lot of help from you guys (eventhough my problem was not solved). And I promised to feedback to this newgroup in case I found a solution, and for the benefit of others who might face similar problems. Here it is : The crash to desktop problem was caused by McAfee Firewall, which I didn't realise was running while I was playing F12002 and GTR2002. Turning off McAfee Firewall solved the problem. My Momo racing wheel is working overtime now ! Cheers !
Quoted text (13 lines)>I've been playing these 2 games in Windows 98SE without any problems. But >after I installed Win XP and re-install both F12002 & GTR 2002, I keep >getting kicked to the desktop after finishing a race or leaving a race >circuit. Help anyone? Thank you. >My system : >Athlon XP 1600 >DDR 512mb >Shuttle Mainboard >Geforce 4 Ti4200 128mb >SoundBlaster Live >WinXP Professional >DirectX 8.1
