OT: CART abandons Elkhart Lake

If the other RA (Road Atlanta) is "too fast" for Champ cars, as CART has recently stated, Elkhart is too. Frankly, the last coupla times they ran there, that stretch from the Carousel through the woods to Kettle Bottoms toward Canada Corner scared me half to death. OTOH, it'd be like butchering Le Mans to stick chicanes all over the place.... Dangit...we need to get these tracks modeled properly. THe most current offerings are conversions of CPR tracks to SCGT to F1 2k2. Not the smoothest transistion. dave henrie
