At Darlington, at the start of the race, I accelerate and it feels like I
only have 6 cylinders firing. The engine is sputtering as the rest of the
field pulls away. If feels a bit like just before your engine starts
smoking. What are they trying to simulate with that? The only thing I can
think of are the bumps, but bumps don't make an engine feel like it is
dying.

Doh!
I can feel the bumps through the FFB wheel, but noticed the same sputtering
thing.... Hmmm???
Thought maybe I just had a bad engine that was about to blow, but it's the
same every time I go in there.

I know this much. The overactive imagination of the "Lets blow up the
engine and piss off the player" AI is really starting to piss me off.
