Anyone here using the Hercules Fortissimo III? Any problems or weirdness to report, or other things I should know about?

Using it on an old VIA board with Windows XP and no problems here. Haven't tried it under *nix so I dunno how the linux or bsd driver support is, but the latest XP drivers are nice, fixed some popping issues that were in the initial drivers. Jason

The latest drivers sorted it out for some but not me. I was running XP Home and used a K7S5A SiS735 motherboard at the time. Run a (far more expensive) Audigy 2 now without problems. In the end, bought a new system (for other reasons) based on nforce2, which utterly and completely rocks.
