If I set the mechanical failure to "normal", my car never failed. If I set it to "time scaled", I am unable to complete a race without a failure. What is the "2002 season" setting? Is it more balanced? Thanks for the info Guill

time scaled shrinks a 52 lap race(or whatever the lap count) down by the same percentage you have chosen for a shortened race. So if you have a 10% race distance, you get probably about 5 laps. Now the sim calculates what 'might' have happened by lap 45 and sticks that in lap 4 or 5. The trouble is it seems to be pretty agressive squeezing stuff in. Brakes are big failure items with time scaled. The 2002 season setting is based on the F1 season of 2002. If you are driving a GTR car that corresponds with Ruebens Ferrari, you will have many failures early in the year. Good luck. dave henrie
