To: All NASCAR Sim Racing Enthusiasts This is an invitation to any and all sim drivers to join the Northwest Simulation Tour (NWST) in the 2003 Winston Open (offline racing). This is a non-points event open to any driver (registration not required) that will be unique, fun and challenging. It is tailored to drivers still using the venerable NASCAR Racing 3 (NR3) and the newer (but not newest) NASCAR Racing 2002 Season (N2K2). There will be three races in all for each sim that increase in difficulty with each race. What makes the Winston Open unique is that qualifying is not allowed (hard charger style). Starting from dead last ensures that a level playing field for all drivers and passing as many cars as possible ensures the challenge to be high and the race extremely fun. Come join the NWST for some great offline racing fun! For more information on the NWST Winston Open see http://www.nwstsimracing.net/races/2003/winston/winstonopen.htm Alan Hood NWST Director www.nwstsimracing.net Winston Open Details Sim: NR3 or N2K2 Track: Lowes - Night Race 1 (The Qualifier) - This race will consist of 42 cars that will challenge the most veteran of drivers, yet ensure that new drivers can finish quite well. Drivers must finish the race in a top 25 position to advance to Race #2. This race will require moderate skill level to advance. Race 2 (The Intimidator) - This race will consist of 30 fast cars at a higher AI strength setting. The degree of challenge will be considerably greater. Drivers must finish the race in a top 15th position to advance. Race 3 (The Shoot-Out) - This race will consist of 15 very fast cars and the driver with the best finish wins. This race will be extremely challenging not for the faint of heart.
