Posting complete racing sim collections
A poster selling his racing game collection was mocked for having no GPL, which led to a Monty Python witch-burning skit. redTed then invited everyone to list their own collections, and members posted long lists from Indy 500 and ICR to NR2003 and F1 2002, with some reminiscence about obscure titles.

Hi all,
its time for me to move on from Racing Sims so Im selling off my
complete collection which has spanned many years.
All the games are ORIGINAL on CD with ORIGINAL manuals. They do not
have there original cardboard packaging boxes. but the jewel
cases/manuals are mint.
Also included is my Thrustmaster Formula T2 Wheel and Pedal Combo,
(Gameport "D" connection ONLY ).
Will only sell as a "Job Lot" to UK destinations only.
So, please take a look here;
http://website.lineone.net/~richard.hall
And email me with the link on that page with any questions.
Rich.
Complete??? There's no GPL there!

Or Nascar 200X....or F1 200X - no wonder he's selling.....he hasn't seen

Just for fun.
Lets not argue the term "sim", just put down those games you feel have above
average "sim" qualities. IE decent physics .
All collections must be the originals+box and manual. And they must be on
your shelf's now. Not games you once owned. And no 3rd party add-ons, no
matter how great they might be.

GPL is five years old IIRC and it's probably still the best we've got in the

Like I said before, I've also given away 5 or 6 games. I could have included

Racing, PowerSlide, Road Rash...<g>

Thanks.
I actually LIKED Newman-Hass Racing. It's clearly more of an arcade game, even
though you can change some setup features(stagger, tire pressure, downforce).
It's been so long since I played it that I don't remember details about track
accuracy or AI. I hated the Houston track. It has a HUD that makes it easy to
keep track of where you are, and had a network option(8-player). I only had
one other person to race against, though. I'll have to load it up again one of
these days.
