Hello everyone, After some unsucessful internet searches, I was wondering if anyone knew of any sim that had sports cars as a add-in( modification, patch etc.) The cars I am interested are mainly GTP, Group C, or SCCA Trans-Am cars. I found some sites with old or broken links, but nothing new. Again, any game, even if it's "old. I did try the 24 hours of LeMans demo, but the steering is just not programmed correctly. Any suggestions or links? Thanks for the help and time, Joe B.

VirtuaLM is working on the GroupC mod for F1 2k2. The LeMans 2k1 mod was a quick graphic port from the F1 2k1 based mod and not a real effort at getting the physics right. I think you will find the F1 2kx mods require a little tinkering with your controller setup to get things right. This was a very common thread when F1 2k1 was released. Most of that same info translates to 2k2. So making sure you are configured properly is a biggie. Most of my preferences are to put all the axis' like steering and throttle to 50%, then reduce the speed sensitivty to very low or zero and THEN inside the individual setups, reduce the steering lock from 20% to around 14 to 16%. try these two sites for links to just about all the f1 2k2 based mods. http://f1hq.racesimcentral.com/site/page.php?pagina=nieuws.dat&titel=nieuws http://home.cablerocket.com/~waldroff/ and also check out... http://www.virtualracersedge.com/ dave henrie

Dave and Tim, Thanks very much for the info and links. I will be checking out F12002, but especially Nascar Heat because I am a big fan of Lime Rock Park ( I live in the Northeast ). Thanks again guys! Joe B.

You should be able to find both for under 12 dollars if you have a Walmart or Office Depot. Look for the jewel box low price versions. Limerock's best version right now is probably for GPL. A version for F1 2k2 will be out with the Lemans 24hr mod...but it is a conversion from SCGT. It's fun...especially with a large field so you are always in traffic. dave henrie
