We will be racing at Papyrus Motorsports Park on 6/28/2003. This
track is part of the recently released Track Pack. Find the Track
Pack on the web, download it, and install it.
Yes Eldred, you too, because I can't host next weekend, so you'll
have to.

Seeing that we're only able to run one race that night... Can we vote on
this issue?
I'd much rather race Coca-Cola Speedway than have a race at Papyrus
Motorsport Park without yellows... Come to think of it - I'd much more like
to race Coca-Coal period.
So perhaps we could vote on this?
I seem to recall others wanting to race CC too...

My vote is for the Papy road course.
Since it's not much more than a superspeedway with a right turn
thrown in, I don't see a reason to run with yellows off.

Papyrus Motorsports Park? Man, I must be out of the loop. I honestly don't
remember even HEARING about this...
Why there, as opposed to Coca Cola Speedway, as some have suggested?

The Papy Track Pack was released a month or so ago, and includes
three fictional tracks:
- An oval
- A figure-8 (with an overpass)
- A high-speed road course
The Figure-8 track is a plate track. The road course is pretty much
a superspeedway with a right turn thrown in. All three are boring as
hell, but they're also free, and they come with a <fast> setup.
Truth be told, I'd rather do Spa, but that requires people to spend
money to get (the track converter and for some people, GPL if they
can even find it), which equates to a lower turnout.
We do ovals for all but two races of the regular season, and I for
one enjoy the chance of pace and challenge that a road course
provides.
Whatever we decide on, we have to do it fairly freakin' soon so
people can practice. Ed asked for a vote, and I'm the only one that
has responded with a vote. At this rate, we won't make a decision
until Friday. If you and Ed want to race at Coca-Cola, then go ahead
and change the schedule.

Well, based on the current votes, it looks like the Papy track has more
support. So, we'll do that one. Now I just gotta find the download...<g>
