Having downloaded and played the XzibitA F1C conversion of the simbin
GTR-2002 mod, i can only express what a dissapointment it is to me. If
you are expecting it to be better than GTR-2002 running on the F1-2002
engine be prepared to be dissapointed. I spent about an hour with it on
F1C, it has none of the "feel" of GTR on f1-2002. I then spent another
hour driving the original GTR-2002 just to make sure i wasn't imagining
how good it is. Truly it is amazing what the Simbin Development team have
done!
Kudos to XzibitA for the work he has put into doing this conversion for
the community but i will not be playing it any more. I can only hope that
the simbin development team are making good progress with their own new
GTR development. I for one cannot wait to see the results and if it is of
the same quality of GTR-2002 will be more than prepared to pay for it.
If you are frustrated at not being able to download the XzibitA
conversion for F1C, don't be, i don't think your missing anything.
If anyone else has downloaded the conversion i would be interested to
know what you think too. Have i missed something?
