Hello I have the RS+shifter and recently I just got the pedals, in windows everything is OK I can see both units and they are OK but in the games (except LFS) they do not appear. The prlkblem is that I also have a sidewinder USB for IL2 and a cheap pad for FIFA and ISS. If I remove both other controller and leave only the act labs things it works, but how can I plu in my other controllers and tell GPL and F12k2 and F1c that they have to look beyong controller 1 and 2 sionce the act labs are 3 and 4. Thanks for the help

What I do is change the controller ID's in gaming options for the game I want to play. e.g.: For GPL: ID 1 Redline Pedals, ID 2 Momo wheel, ID 3 actlabs usb shifter. For IL-2 FB: ID 1 Saitek, ID 2 Momo (6 buttons and paddles used for various controls), ID 3 actlabs usb shifter (used for engine selection), ID 4 Redline Pedals (used for wheel brakes). It's a bit of a pain but I've got used to doing it this way now. It would be nice if we could just load a profile in gaming options to do all this ID shifting automatically! Hope that helps Gerry

Sounds great, but under XP I cannot change controller ID, I can set a "favourite controller" which I have set as ACT LABS but even like this the controllers are seen in the order they appear in the control panel and the games only see the 2 first ones....

<SIGH> XP, another reason why it's a poor OS for gaming! Gerry
I had that problem too, and never could get an answer from Microsoft. What it does for me is 'break' the force feedback in GPL, because GPL wants the FF device to be the first in the list. > > Sounds great, but under XP I cannot change controller ID, I can set a > "favourite controller" which I have set as ACT LABS but even like this the > controllers are seen in the order they appear in the control panel and the > games only see the 2 first ones....
