Well, this our "Legends" mods for N2003, so they'll be pretty good if we say so ourselves, and we do :-) Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" "The Pits" http://www.theuspits.com/ "A man is only as old as the woman he feels" --Groucho Marx--

Not for the Aussies no, not yet....dammit :-) Well, Stan is making progress and the Holden is starting to look quite good, but Gilles had a head start on him and Stan is almost as old as Bruce so you can't expect him to work as fast as Gilles.... eeek! Wroom! Wrooooom! Ed - did you try Netcar? I'm very surprised by how good it has become. The Japanese Turbo'd monster is an absolute hoot around Falkenberg and Brands. Best ever in-car turbo sound I've heard. Reminds me of the old C2 :) I think it passes the GTR mod on physics by quite a bit. Oh, and it has your car too. Didn't know the std Nini Coopers were that slow and understeer-ey...(har, har!) Matt
Aaaah! Thanks, Goy. Bruce. "Goy Larsen" <[email hidden]/> wrote in message news:bfr88k$26a$[email hidden]... > > Stan Allen, our resident Aussie who is doing the AussieV8 bodies, great > guy and about your age if memory serves me right, biggest AussieV8 fan > in the known universe > >

Oh, and if you ever meet a guy named Stan Allen who looks to be roughly your age, whatever you do, don't say anything bad about Brockie.......you may get away with talking down Holden, but not Brockie :-) Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--

I've downloaded bth netkar and brands - but I cant get the damn thing to work.... Where do i select track and car? The test day screen only give me errors... And I've not been able to see any servers either. :-( As for the Mini; if it's pushing that bad - they got it wrong. My car's actually so loose at the rear that I'm considering unhooking the rear ARB come snow and winter.. :o) -- ed_

Running Donington with the JTCC car knocks GTR off the #1 spot. I've had lots of very wideways moments, controlling it with the throttle and mad steering. Feels very lifelike, and that lowspeed understeer is nowhere to be seen. Oh, and that "pschhht" from the wastegate...at least two different sounds. When you let off and coast/brake and when you just dab the gas or shift. Brilliant! The UI is very simple, so sounds like you don't get the track day screen loaded up. > As for the Mini; if it's pushing that bad - they got it wrong. My car's > actually so loose at the rear that I'm considering unhooking the rear ARB > come snow and winter.. :o) It just pushes when you have the throttle to the floor, it's very loose on liftoff. And I just discovered I had my actlab gas calibrated a tad sensitive, wide open at 1/3 of the pedal stroke. Hehe. /Matt
I remember watching Brock when he punted that beast of a Morris A30 around Oran Park (western Sydney) like a mad thing. That was in his "pre-Brocky" days, before anyone knew who he was or could even dream what he would achieve. King Of The Mountain, for sure. Bruce. Yeah, Brocky (oops) was good, personally I was a fan of Larry Perkins, need to find another one to root for now or just keep cheering for the Castrol Commodores whoever drives them :-) You seen this ? http://www.thenorwaypits.com/temp/bath94bath.wmv Beers and cheers (uncle) Goy "goyl at nettx dot no" http://www.theuspits.com "A man is only as old as the woman he feels........" --Groucho Marx--
