Hi,
I have the following problem:
I have the mod FIAGT (GTR 2002) for F1 C and after starting the mod, it
opens the 3dconfig file. I make and finish the test, but then it starts
again and again - this will mean, that never will start the FIA GT mod.
Any advice???

Not sure if you know this or not, but GTR2002 is designed for F1 2002, not
F1C. You can make it run in F1C (apparently), but you need to either fix
some things yourself, or download an unofficial patch. If you've done this,
then I guess it might be the config file being set to Read Only, so the
3dconfig program can't save your settings.

Having not messed with F1 C yet...(no cash)
I would guess you still need to verify that the new gtr config.ini matches
(down from the gridsize= line) the F1 c config file. The vidguide line is
the most important.

To Dave: I know you from GPL newsgroups from the early beginnings til now,
so I know, you would love F1C. The feeling of the track is much better than
in F12002. And today, I prefer it for GPL.

I have it on good authority that the GTR2002-X mod for F1C has one
serious problem (unless it has been corrected in the last week): The
.pm and .hdv files are nearly identical to the F1 car files. Imagine
the handling of a 2500 lb. front-engine F1 car pretending to be a
Ferrari 550. :-/
This can be corrected, at the cost of about 1/2 hour per car and some
careful tweaking. Seems like it'd be a lot of work for an unsupported
conversion...
