Hello,
I am going to buy either F12002 or F! Challenge 99-02.
Does the GT2002 mod work with either one or just the F12002?
Thanks, Eric

yes and no. There is a conversion of GTR 2k2 that will work with F1 C.
But it is not a proper update. The physics are just bascially still F1
2k2. However, there is one and maybe two teams working on a GTR 2003 mod
for F1 C. It should have more types of cars but I really worry about
balance since the Ferrari 550 is so dominant so far this year.
F1 C has much better online capability and will have many many mods
available for it before too much longer. You should be able to find F1
2k2 for around Ten Bucks in just the jewel box at places like Wal Mart or
Compusa. For that price it would be worth it. But if you have to pay a
retail level price...anything over 19, then I say just skip F1 2k2 and go
right to F1 C.

Thank you for the info. I bought f1202 for $15 at Gamespot and will
be downloading GTR2002 soon.

Good posts. I have looked at the latest updates on XZibit-A's site; be
aware that the current files are still essentially unmodified F1
physics, and the cars are just "not right".
There's a guy called rainbow29 over on the RaceSimCentral forums who is
working on a true F1C compatible physics model and apparently having
good success. This includes updated tire models as well as the
suspension models. I expect to see his results posted very soon...
