Tiny bit less power and grip from what I can tell. I hesitate to really speculate further until I can mess with it more in the garage and online. It's not an immediate 'whoa this is different' feeling, altho I definitely brake much later at Watkins Glen since the speeds are so low. The biggest differences in the patch for me are the new damage effects (which affect both the busch cars and the cup cars!) and the pitbox lines. Otherwise, I'm just waiting for this week to pass so we can hopefully get an early build of the Trans Am patch. =) Jason

I noticed at the Daytona race in July that the Busch cars were running 2 MPH >faster< than the Cup cars during qualifying. I know that the Busch cars also have plates, but apparently the holes are bigger (or something)... John DiFool

There was a second leak? Or does this work with 1.1.0.0...which is the only leaked patch I have see mention of (from weeks ago). I thought the latest patch that BGN needed was 1.1.0.2? I guess I'm going to be the sacrificial lamb here...is there anywhere that I can find the leaked patch? I'm really looking forward to the Busch cars and the new damage model, and I just can't take the wait! Thanks in advance. "jason moyer" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

The patch at The Pits is NOT official. It's the leaked BETA that was tested last night, issues were found. So it's still not done. Philthy "GM" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:dCi_a.10017$[email hidden]...

So it's still not done. There were no issues found in the patch. In fact, Papy hasn't touched the patch in several weeks. The problem was in getting online via Sierra, and it's the same problem you have if you try to connect using a no cd.exe. The Sierra authentication servers were not updated to reflect the new version of the game, so you couldn't login. Once the Sierra auth system has been updated, everything will be fine. If you've downloaded the patch over the last few days, you have the version that is going to be released officially. Eric Busch has posted something about this on the Sierra forum, I highly recommend reading it before speculating. Jason
it works fine with the 1.1.0.0 that was leaked a couple of weeks ago... I know because I downloaded the busch, and then drove the cars at the Glenn this morning for half an hour before going to work. ( I d/l ed the 1.1.0.0 a couple of weeks ago)
