If you're on the roster and you haven't raced often (and/or lately),
you are hereby on notice that participation is essential in order for
you to remain on the roster. We want to race against people that show
up on a regular basis so that we can become famniliar with their on-
track quirks, and I am eager to clear the dead wood out of the roster
and the car file.
If you can't make it because of the time/day we race, can't live with
the new fascist regime and the associated draconian rules, or have
simply lost interest, please let me and/or Eldred know immediately.
Nobody is exempt from this request, so if you're going to quit or
want to be removed from the roster, do the right thing and let us
know so we can update the invite files for the servers.
If at a later date, you are reasonably sure you can fit us into your
schedule, or realize that a little tyranny is a good thing, you are
more than welcome to re-register.
Have to quit, reality has learned that saturday-evenings are nearly always
reserved for women. ;-)
Wish you much fun and excitement.

Sorry, John. I won't even try to tell you why I haven't been able to make
it. Let's just say this, it had nothing to do with you or the way you
administer the league. I'm rooting for you usually.
Ya'll take care!

In the summer, it's impossible for me to get home in time, so feel free to
remove me, although it's mighty nice to be able to drop in from time to
time.
What final rules were actually implemented? So many changes I cant keep
track.
Whats the new mane going to be? RASCAR doesnt actually fit anymore seeing
how its moved away from here, its birth place btw.

See rules page on the site. AFAICT nothing much has changed from the old
rules (John's omitted some of the more questionable items from his IGPS
inspired set) other than there's penalties for goofing up now.

I don't agree, as usual the good races (latest Michigan) don't get discussed
here, but as far as the rules and rules conflict goes: that only partains to
a subset of RASCAR regulars, which already are a subset of RAS regulars, so
I think it's proper that should be discussed in annother place. That's not a
matter of Old Boy politics, it's a matter of politeness towards the users of
this forum.
It's hardly like this is a closed e-mail discussion, it's right there on
RaceSimCentral for everyone to see, only categorised in its proper place
IMO. Any RASCAR and RAS regular can visit the site,
http://rascar.racesimcentral.com, click the forum link and read the
discussion so far.

Then tell us/me. There are good reasons not to show up. :)
Are you a cross-dresser with a weekly show on saturday evenings? :)

You're pretty much exempt from being auto-deleted. You have a
quantifiable skill (hell - you won the race you ran in) and I wish
you'd race more often. :)

The only rules you have to worry about are the ones that are actually
linked from the RASCAR page (the big red "RULES" graphic on the left
side of the browser window).
The rules haven't changed, but the admins will be handing out next-
race black flags for doing stupid shit and for unsportsman-like
behavior(s).

It most certainly does fit here, but it's easier to talk about web
site stuff in the racesimcentral forum that is linked from the web
site.
Everyone is still welcomed to come here for post-race free-for-alls
(to a point anyway - see the rules) if they so choose.

Aw, John, now you've got me blushing :-))
Thanks, matey, and feel free to paint the ol' SS car as a truck when the
urge calls you ;-)
Somewhere along the line I lost that bookmark. Can ya re-post the url here
or the forums?
If its just accountability rules then Im all for that. Gray areas are still
questionable to me though. If its not a crystal clear incident how will the
admins rule? On the side of caution / "one of them racin deals"? Will the
admins rule on what the server see's or what each individuals replay shows?
The server replay doesnt see it very clear at times. The ONLY way is to
watch both drivers replays and compare what each driver REALLY see's.

I'm out.
I'm working on setting up a RASCAR-BGN series that will run on week-nights -
European-time.
Feel free to remove me.

Reserved for one woman :)
So I'm out too. I guess over the year I can manage 5 or so races. Next year
I'll probably be back in real racing as well which means a) in the workshop
b) racing c) trying desperately to stop my woman from going nuts over a) and
b)

I was able to take part last season at a handful of races. But my
social life surprised me this season. And I can't use the woman excuse
either, sadly...
So feel free to remove the 76 car from the rooster as long as you race
saturday 10 pm CET. I already see that my weekends are getting fully
booked with other things for the rest of the autumn.
