Ok I have had enough of this RASCAR crap! How is it that one lousy league
can come in and dominate this forum? Have some consideration for those that
come here from other leagues for legitimate news, and discussions we all can
appreciate. Personally after all the bickering that RASCAR people do, I
wouldn't consider being a member. My time is much to valuable to waste
sifting through RASCAR whining. You all killed RASCAR so, please don't
cripple this forum also!
Flame warAnonymous demand that RASCAR get its own newsgroup
An anonymous poster demanded that RASCAR move its bickering elsewhere, drawing a crude reply from John Simmons and accusations that the poster was replying to himself under another name. Others recommended filters or simply ignoring the threads. The discussion drifted into a debate about the Forte Agent newsreader.

But apparently not valuable enough to take time creating a fake addy?
Just curious, that's all.

If you're so tired of RASCAR posts, why don't you go back to posting
on alt.gay.assholes?

Really, John, just ignore the stuff. There's nothing anyone can do about
RASCAR posts here. If they want to screen out the posts dealing with RASCAR
it is easily done.
Don't waste your time arguing. Life is short, as they say. Enjoy.

Jeez John, with subtle comments like this, I'm not suprised some people
have had some difficulties handling them.
He has a valid point; all this (in)fighting ought to stop, or be moved
to some private (rascar) forum. R.a.s. isn't exactly turning into the
lovefest it oughta be with catfights like this.
Guys, go have a stunt car race somewhere. It'll clear your head.

takes about half an hour to set it up to realise its potential.

Man, I couldn't agree with you more.
I bought it a long time ago, based on all the 'hype'. It's the worst user
interface I've ever seen.
The damned thing can't even sort by subject and date!
Options/Preferences/choices (depending on what they tacked on and when) are
scattered across a myriad of menu's and sub-menu's, and the layout makes no
sense at all.
I quit using it years ago.

Just doubleclick on the subject or date header :-/
Works only with Agent btw, not with Free Agent.

I agree with this one.. Agent is crap on many fronts but I tried every
single newsreader there is and the rest is even crappier too ( I CAN'T
imagine how anyone can work with newsgroups in Outlook..)

Perhaps you should give the latest version a chance then (you can use
Agent full version free for 30 days now).

Um, this I know :)
I mean BOTH at the same time.
I wrote them about it, and after being grilled through several emails to
prove I was registered user (I was), and putting up with the shitty
attitude of the guy at the other end of the emails, I was finally told it
was being _considered_ for version 2.0.
That was, I believe, 4 years ago. I don't believe 2.0 has ever been
