I know there are flight sim newsgroups, but a Google search didn't really
help, and I know there is a lot of cross-over between the two groups, so I
hope you'll pardon the question here. What I really like about a lot of the
racing sim download sites, especially the GPL track database, is the use of
user ratings to separate the wheat from the chaff, especially when I can see
various ratings, like graphical brilliance and technical merit etc. Is
there any site with user developed planes for FS2002 which includes a user
rating system? A lot of planes I've downloaded based on tiny jpg thumbnails
were either ugly, or no fun to fly. On the other hand, the user ratings for
GPL tracks often inspired me to try a particularly difficult track, with
great rewards, so it would be interesting to know that Plane X is a
particularly interesting challenge.

give www.avsim.com a try. I think they have some rating system.
