I have just upgraded my PC with a new CPU And M/B
I used to have it running perfect with old system but now can't get it
to load at all
When I click on icon the screen goes black and get a large white
pointer arrow for about 5 sec then the screen goes black and all I
hear is the intro loading in background .
Yesturday I reformated the hard drive and reloaded windows xp
Following this I loaded the latest drivers for the video card and
motherboard.
I did get it to load once but soon after this I install fs2004 and
office , and no go.
Could loading direct x 9 with fs2004 have caused this problem
It seems strange as I had directx 9 loaded on old pc and it worked ok
hope some help is forthcoming as I am just about to through the bloody
thing in the bin for the last time
