MotorSports Evolution Racing League (MERL) is forming a short series
to test and evaluate the merits of the VHR Stockcar mod for rFactor.
In limited online testing we have found this to be the best the NASCAR
mod for rF yet. We are looking to expand our driver base with drivers
interested in helping us form the series from the ground up. After the
conclusion of this series (5-7 races, approx. 30 laps per for
speedways, 50 for a short track) a longer offseason series may begin
with an eye to possibly switching from NR2003 to the VHR mod for the
full 2008 season.
If you are interested in join MERL and running with drivers interested
in fun and comraderie, please check out our website, www.merlracing.com.
Just an FYI...the first races are tonight, Sunday Oct. 14 starting at
7:30pm ET. Head right to the server "MERLracing" and join us. See what
we are all about and get to know some of the drivers. If you like,
check out the website and sign up there, www.merlracing.com.
Forgot to add this info:
1. We are still running the 1.250 version, not the 1255F patch. We are
waiting on addtional feedback about the patch.
2. The VHR mod can be had at: http://www.vhracing.net/VHR-Stockcar/Downloads/Downloads.htm
Make sure you have the 1.4 version of the mod.
