Ha! The AI in GPL are incredibly daft everywhere.
What's the english word for 'kielhalen'? (Old seaman's punishment where
a sailor was pulled under the keel of a boat until he either died or
came up on the other side)
That's what they oughta do to the Papy programmers who a) coded this and
b) who failed to fix this in the 1.2 update...
I still get mad everytime these wacky buggers punt right into me during
a pass, like I wasn't there. Utter dimwits. There's not a day that goes
by when I don't ask why oh why they didn't fix this, since the ai
reactions are so obviously dead wrong.
Granted, at Silverstone it's a bit worse here & there, like near the
start. Updating GPL to 1.2, diving hard on the very inside before Hangar
Straight and driving a lot faster helped though... ;)

PS. there's some threads at forums.racesimcentral that deal with this too.

Keel-Hauled...as in being hauled under the keel.
