just dled the newer version of CPR and it is alot harder, grip levels lower, and probably a little more accurate. No way im doing lap times of 1.01.5 at laguna seca now.....it feels more like gpl with 900hp and more grip. pez

Since there is this sudden re-discovering of CPR lately I decided to give it a try. But I can't get it to run in acellerated mode on my Voodoo3 3000 AGP. I've tried both D3D and the Glide renderer, but the screen when I enter the track is all white except some blue pixcels here and there where the dash is and some trackside objects. When I hit escape the colors go all right for half a second before beeing sent back to the menu screens. Weird. It works in software mode, but my PIII450@560 doesn't manage more than 20 fps. I've also tried it at 450@450, but the problem doesn't go away, so it's not a overclocker thing. Anyone ? -- Olav K. Malmin remove spam when replying

If you have read my post better you should have seen that I tried both dll's and that I got 20 fps in software mode :) With my old Voodoo2 and my cpu at 450 Mhz i got about 40 fps. But now I can't reach accelerated mode. I downloaded newer drivers earlier today, but haven't tried C:PR yet. -- Olav K. Malmin remove spam when replying
