Get the All-Dash patch and ALMS Carset as well. Adds quite a bit to the experiance to drive cars each with their own dash. Mind you not all cars will have them due to naming standards. But the ones that are compliant will have them. The ALMS carset all the cars are All-Dash compatible so dont worry about that (some of the car performances are a bit screwey though). Chris

I know I'm way behind with this but I just got it and was wondering what recommended patches should I install. I guess the big ones are 1551 patch, visual damage patch, advance option, and the big sp3 patch. Any others? What order should I install those or does it matter? Thanks. Anthony

Oh yes, I had it at one point. I did a complete reinstall then added ONLY 1.5 patch, VizDamage, AllDash and the ALMS carset. Now it seems gone. Maybe there is an incompatibility with one of the other patches out there? ...Colin "Chris Bloom" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Generally patch the game first with the 1.551 patch. Then add any other updates, patches, service paks you feel like. Sp3 does NOT have all the sounds needed for the cars included so make sure you pick up a program called scgtsoundcheck.zip to help locate the missing soundfiles. From what I understand, the advanced options editor needs to be run EACH TIME you load the program. dave henrie > I know I'm way behind with this but I just got it and was wondering what > recommended patches should I install. A porsche 911 which just bounces up and down in a vertical position without going anywhere, and sometimes spins round in the air. I can't remember the driver, a german sounding name I think, I will check later. That sounds like what I had. Do you remember what # Porsche it was? Chris Bloom wrote:
