GPL LAN UK .... Will it happen?

1 post by 1 person · 25 Feb 2000 - 25 Feb 2000

The response from the last post about this was pretty encouraging, enough people at least for a full race. When & where is the next question. I suggested in the other thread to have it over the San Marino race weekend, the timing is good for me but what do the rest of you think, too soon? As for where, well, the most central place is slap-bang in the middle of England but west a bit, is anyone there with a spare hangar. I'm sure we'd all chip-in for the electric & stuff. Another thing, what kind of times are we all running, no point in racing if some of us are 'Huttu-like' & others are merely mortal. Just for comparison : Kyalami 1:20/21's Mexico 1:49/50's Monaco Abysmal Monza 1:28/29's Mosport 1:23's Rouen 2:00's Silverstone 1:30's 'Ring Don't even ask Spa 3:18's Watkins 1:05/6's Zandy 1:25/26's I think that from a couple of previous posts that we are all on the same level, should make for some great racing. Suggestions anyone?
