is it me or are the online requirements for n3 a lot higher than GPL. Now ive played gpl online many a time so i guess my expectations were a bit high.....anyway i loaded up the demo, signed on to won, went into arena demo from within the n3 multiplayer menu, and got to a screen which was a poor imitation of winVROC. Looked at pings of around 150 - 200 (Which in GPL is great on my PC), logged into a Texas race, pressed the accelerator, and then got a message saying SLOW CONNECTION, and then LOSING CONNECTION, and then its gone.......im not impressed.......Went into a chat room and a guy said that you need pings well under 150 to be able to race..... who the hell on a modem (33.6) has a ping under 150???? i can now fully understand why Geoff Crammond doesnt want internet capability in GP3. Most people have normal modems, not adsl (which isnt even out here yet) or isdn. pez
