Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding racing wheels. I own a Pro Digital racing wheel. And I'm looking for a new one. I don't unserstand why Thrustmaster put out a crappy wheel. I want to know if anyone else experiences gitter when you make slight steering changes? This is really making me mad. I'm having a hard time being able to keep a straight line. Also what is the best non-Force feedback wheels out there today? Thanks in advanced.

Open your wheel and pedals and spray contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol into the pots to clean them > Also what is the best non-Force feedback wheels out there today? MS non-FF is quite nice, not sure if they still sell them. brd wheels http://www.interactiveracing.com are the bst of the lot but cost a fortune > > Thanks in advanced. > >

"Aidee" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:bmdseo$s2m$[email hidden]... > The best you asked for...? > > www.interactiveracing.com However - BEWARE.... I know quite a few people getting a bit cheesed off with their BRD wheels. One example... " OK so I just finished installing a new wiring loom to my steering wheel and I've still got these shitty problems - plus a slight breeze knocked the wires out of the pot so I had to get the soldering iron out and try my damndest to put them back in without melting everything. So I phone up BRD and moan at them; they think that a chip has gone spannered in the USB pedal circuit board https://shop.interactiveracing.com/e-commerce/viewproduct.asp?ProductID=63 and advised I send it to them for testing. I tell you what, if those bastards try to charge me 45 for a new circuit board just to have it go *POP* in a few months, I will say fuck you, man I bought BRD so that I did not have to by a new plastic FF wheel every 6 months - But I know now that metal construction doesn't mean SHIT if the wiring and circuitry is as flimsy as a wet paper fucking BAG. CUNTS. This is most likely my 30th problem with my BRD rig, literally. FUCKING SHIT. " However -most of the problems mentioned are the previous generation stuff - and the S7 pedals (and soon the S7 wheel and shifter) will most likely not suffer this problem Doug
Or you can try replacing the potentiometer with a higher quality one (make sure it is the same OHM value I'd assume).. Even the highest quality potentiometer is still going to be miles cheaper than a "boutique" steering wheel that doesnt' even have force feedback. 'Doesn't even have force feedback' You say that like it's a bad thing. It's not. FF today is still very phoney feeling and hinders more than helps IMO. Else the 'boutique' wheels would offer it too...drive a real race car, then your plastic FF wheel in a sim, THEN tell me FF is accurate...I'll take smooth over fake any day of the month.
Ok Thanks for everyones input. I know the best are the big expensive wheels. I should have been more specific. I will take note. Just to let everyone know. I recently purchased a Nascar Pro Digital 2 wheel. And it is much better than my Pro Digital 1 as a matter of fact the the T2 is much better than my Pro Digital. The Pro Digital really suck in XP using the newest usb drivers. Thank again everyone "fred charlie" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Iguib.751918$Ho3.192987@sccrnsc03... > Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding racing wheels.
