I'm sure that many owners of the Logitech Wingman Formula Force will have
visited Mauritz Lindqvist's excellent site detailing the modification of
this wheel with ball races. http://w1.111.telia.com/~u11103812/lwff.htm [address restored]
I wished to have the work done but unfortunately do not have the necessary
skills. After approaching a few local engineering companies I found
Springwater Engineering in Whittlesey near Peterborough. They will not
rebuild the wheel but did make all the new parts necessary and sourced the
bearings required.
If anyone wants this mod carried out contact David York on 01733 202779, be
warned though it did cost me more than the wheel did originally. However it
is a great improvement and will, I feel last longer than a standard wheel.
Lastly thanks to Mauritz who has provided help throughout.
Regards Gary
