Hi There! Now I got my MS FF - it`s very impressive with Viper Racing... and nothing seem to slow down at all... BUT: With GPL+FF I got very jerky screen update - only 14-17 FPS during training (Kyalami). Is this normal? I mean it`s very jerky - not only slow - as If something is wrong.... I switched Detail Bias near minimum, dynamic lightning, s.higlights and a few things in the mirror off. When I disable FF in core.ini I got with the same setting 28-30 FPS and everything looks very smooth. I use the UK 1.2.0.1. update. BTW: How could I check which GPL version I bought (UK or US)? I tried first the US-Update - wrong version. The UK Update worked - but when I put my GPL CD into the drive GPL didn`t recognize the CD as If I have the US-Version? So I had to install a NO-CD patch - weird! What should I do - is my Computer too slow or is something wrong? First I had a few Soundproblems (cut off samples) together with the FF-Software - perhaps it has something to do with this?? My System: ASUS TX 97 Mainboard AMD K6/2 400 32 MB SDRAM Matrox Millennium II Diamond Monster - Voodoo 1 4MB Soundblaster 16 Value (ISA - with the newest drivers from Creative) Win 98 (not SE) Sidewinder Game Controller Software 3.0. At the shop where I bought my wheel It`s called "MS FF Wheel 1.0" Is there a 2.0 Version of this wheel? Thanks! Lutz -- Home: [link lost in import]

Strange - I don't have this problem in my system. I reckon you'd be better moving you system to 36fps tho - the graphics card is probly the problem with your system. -- Richard G. The may be caused by your ISA sound card/gameport. An SBLive value ($50) would probably help a lot. The voodoo 1 may also be limiting things somewhat. I believe the wheel is a current version. Best Wishes, Scott
