What do you have to put the AI up to, Me and a friend run modem races about
every night, we have them set at 110 now and can still beat them, It is a
lot harder to get to the front, we always start at the back and never pass
until the second lap so they will be up to speed, but we can usually still
get up front in about 20 laps or so, and once we do we just run away from
them. We usually
run laps of 203 to 204 in the draft. Their times during practice are about
the same some.
Set your AI 's to 103 or 104 % then they will be more of a challenge

in the game.
Since setting these numbers, I've been trying to run 100% races and haven't
been able to win, but I have led some laps. I seem to eventually make a
mistake trying to pass and end up spinning out. At this level the AI is
still beatable, but you have to work at it. It's teaching me to use the
draft now that I can't power past the AI in the turns like I could before.
In fact, geting a good run on a car in a turn doesn't do me much good if
he's still in the draft and I'm on the inside with no draft. I'll slide up
beside him on the straightaway and then start drifting back until I have to
duck back behind him for the next turn. You have to wait for your
opportunities...
Give it a try, and if 110 is not competitive enough, try higher numbers. I
don't know if there's an upper limit or not...
