Brands hatch install crash

Do I need to have GPL patched to v1.2 to install Brands Hatch? I tried it several times but the installation process crashes aster a while. ...OR.perhaps,horrible thought,does it only work with the US version? (I got the UK version) Thankful for any help -- Robert S?derberg If replying by mail,remove the word INGENSPAM from the adress.
