PDPI Card?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew if PDPI is still shipping cards? I ordered a card back in October, they mailed me it was backordered. I've been to the web site, it's still up. I've emailed about my order, but haven't heard anything. I was wondering if anyone here knew anything. Backordered for 3 months? Maybe I should cancel my order and reorder? I ordered PDPI L4 on November 15th and I received e-mail confirming my order, and that they will ship card in 60 days. Recently, after more then two months of my order, I sent 5 e-mails asking what happened with my order. I didn't receive any response. What a shame for a company trying to make some impact on this news group with recent posts (Schumi) and announcing new quality products and services. That isn't a way PDPI will make us believe in there promises. Even worse, I see that I'm not alone in being ignored from PDPI. Darko

Here's the deal.... We are backordered for one reason, and one reason only. We have been very busy raising capital to launch our new product lines, and the deal is to be signed and completed this week. The parties that are investing in the company have stated that they do not want us to make the manufacturing order for the L4s until such time as the deal is done, and they can explore (quickly) the possibilities of having "their" manufacturing contacts in China do the production at a potentially lesser price. Please note that no one hates these delays more than we, but we have had to abide by the stipulations of the party that is to take us to the next level. I am sincerely sorry for the delay, and you can expect to receive your L4 in 5 weeks. I know that this is yet another delay, but as soon as the deal is signed next week (just working out some minor details... crossing the Ts and dotting the Is), we initiate a manufacturing order. It will take 3 weeks for us to get them, and which point it will take another week to arrive (depending on where you are), and of course... add one more week to get to next, and we are left with 5 weeks in total. Your payments have not been processed at this point, and will not be processed until such time as we deliver the product. I am sincerely sorry if your enquiries have not been replied to. I have replied to every single one that has been forwarded to me to answer. Thanks for explaining reason for delay, but shouldn't be much better for all of us, if we got that explanation in replay to our numerous e-mails sent to PDPI. Shumi; Thanks for taking the time to reply to our questions/concerns. Unfortunately, it shouldn't have taken the outcry that resulted to get an answer. I'm not blaming you of course, but PDPI. The info. you passed on should have been available to all of us who ordered a card. We shouldn't have had to basically beg/search for info. At the least, it should have been on their site. My order's still canceled. If it takes this much effort to communicate with PDPI, no thanks. :( They may make good products, but they forgot about basic customer service. -John Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Hmm, I gues it's a good thing I got mine a few months ago. I got it in about 2 or 3 weeks(going from memory). I'm surprised that the service/response time has gone down...
