*Er....... this one's a bit brief*
GPL - World Championships 1967 - Monaco.

Ugh.

I'm a complete ***.
But this track does my head in something rotten.
I love this track in GP2 but here its sheer ***y torture.
First time I waddled around like a paralytic duck, never got beyond 3rd and
spent most of the time in 2nd, could of sworn I heard the crowds laughing
and taking the piss.
Still, nice looking women.

Qualification.
Lemme see now....
I bent axle.
2 blown engines (don't ask me how, didn't think I was going fast enough)
Numerous blown tyres and a***pit full of straw.
Trundled aroond, engine farting like a constipated cow.
Finished last by some 7 seconds.
Pit crew not happy.
Race.
Oh shit.
Lap 3
Lying last, 4 seconds behind Bandani's Ferrari approaching the left, right
mini chicane just beyond the tunnel in 3rd gear(flying!!) when back end
wallows and skitters, immediately back off and squeeze plastic brake to no
avail. - big ***ing mistake.
*** flicks right and into screeching spin before left front whacks straw
bail and sends Lotus spinning like a top down the road before clipping
barrier and wiping out totally the right ***ing side.
Sparks and smoke everywhere.....crowd stand up and take photos.
Feel like a total tosspot......
Just wanna go and hide as youngest taps me on shoulder and says "yer not
very good are yeh dad."
He might as well have planted a size nine in me goolies.
Clark wins.
Brabham second.
Surtees third.
Me - Nul points.

ps: Hey, after reading some of the posts about dodgy controllers..!!!!!!!!
It might have been me wheel.!!! - got a F1 sim with placca pedals which
for some ***y reason re-calibrates itself half way during a race (er...
when I can get that far)...but come to think of it maybe its my new Voodoo 3
card I've just plugged in (36 FP ***y S..wheeeeeeeee!!) playing the old
black magic.
Er...still thats my excuse.
Of course Icould just be ***y crap.

man, you save my day - at least something for fun after a hard day :-)
btw: last GGPLC season I sucked at monaco. and when I say "sucked", I
mean "sucked"! got lapped 3 times in a int long race ... doh. this
season I did a 9th place, being lapped just once and a 1:29.93 as a PB
in my trusty brabham ...

Same here. Monaco *used* to be one of my favorites...

I sympathise - you need so much patience to go round Monaco for lap after
lap without crashing - I always try and push too hard and wipe out:-)
