I read some posts on here a while ago about people not having any luck
running GPL on a Matrox G400 card. Its apparently an OpenGL driver problem.
Well that was a while ago. I've been using the latest 5.50 beta drivers for
the card & GPL still refuses to start.(yep I've got the openGL beta2
patchfor GPL)
Anyone else had any luck recently with getting it to work.
I've run out of ideas, which is a pity because the card is fantastic at
running everything else....................just not GPL compliant!! :-(
I had a G200 that I suffered with for a while in GPL. But someone on this
group pointed me to a driver for the G200 specific to GPL. It allowed me to
go from 640x480 at 18 FPS to 800x600 at 24 FPS. I don't know if it will
work with the G400 but here is the link anyway.
