ok so I wan't paying attention last month when this was covered and I just spent waaaytoo much time at deja.com looking for it... How do I get my car in N3 to be one of the real ones while online? anything special I hae to do...tired of running around with #131. dave henrie
Send your .car file to everyone you are playing against. This usually isn't feasible in 'pick-up' races on the net, but for league races it works great. At the log in screen where you need to type what car you want type c99_## to drive a real car from the 99 Cup Season. If you want a Grand National car type g99_##. Replace the ## with the cars number that you want to drive. In the case of a single digit car number only use that number. Example: c99_3.car Be certain you check the list of drivers for the certain car you want to drive before you try to choose that car. Eddie http://connect.to/TNTN3/
I believe he was asking how to use one of the WC cars online. Dave, all you have to do is enter the name of the car file that you wish to use. If you wanted to use Bobby Labonte's 18 car, you would enter c99_18 as the car you wish to use. This is done on the multiplayer screen before actually signing on to the WON matching servers. Hope this helps. If you need more help, just ask. Mike
