Recently I moved and upon setting up my PC again I get no 3D graphics
from my voodoo2 (I'm computer illiterate so please excuse any
faux-pas.) The kids can still play Putt-Putt so I do get graphics for
simpler games.
Symptom one: When I try to play Need for Speed III, I hear the
engines roar but the screen is blank. Ditto for N4S high stakes and
Toy Story II (kids again).
Symptom two: I can't tell if my steering wheel is working with N4S
(screen is blank) but if I switch to a version of toy story with
simpler gaphics my sidewinder doesn't work (Buz don't go, PC doesn't
even recognize that sidewinder is plugged in)
Are the sidewinder problem and Voodoo problem linked? Does anyone
know what is wrong? Better yet does anyone know how to fix it?
The kids thinkI'm grinch since I can't get toy story (a Christmas
present) to work.
Any help is much appreciated.
