I have RS2 and am using the Monster 300mx sound card but there is a very
low engine sound and whenever i slow down or brake hard, the backfire sound
almost implodes my head. It's like the engine sound is down to 1 and some of
the other effects are at 1000. I am using the latest drivers for mx300 and
the original sounds. I only have had problems running this game since the
soundcard upgrade. Tried lowering the performance of the card a notch, but
to no avail. Sometimes I get this sound break up at certain areas of all
tracks too. Love this game dearly, but I will burn it soon and wait for
GP3. Ubisoft should be taking care of their customers a little better and
look into all these sound problems.
