It has been months since I originally posted my GPL engine sounds (HG-GPL
SoundPak) on High Gear. Yet, I still get email almost every day asking for
these engine sounds......after literally thousands and thousands of
downloads have been recorded at High Gear of just the GPL SoundPak alone.
Well, High Gear has decided to create a separate department....just for that
purpose! And, they have posted it to celebrate their 500,000 visitor (which
occurred yesterday). So.....if you want to try my engine sounds (although
they are more than just engine sounds...they are the entire sound package
for GPL, N3 and NL)......you can now download them from "Tom's Sound Garage"
at High Gear. There's lots of instructions and information about settings
for your sound/speaker system (and sound card) too!
Go to High Gear at: [link lost in import]
Click on the hyperlink located in the yellow section to the left of the
page: Tom's Sound Garage.
And bingo.....you'll have all the SoundPaks available for GPL, N3 and
NL.....with all the info too. I will be updating these engine SoundPaks
regularly, creating some for different types of tracks. And, I plan on
doing one for N3 and NL that will completely recreate the spotter and crew
chief voices, verbiage and volume levels. Have fun...and good racing! --
