Anyone having problems with DTR and Diamond Viper cards, here is a possible
solution.
I purchased a new computer with a Viper V770. I was able to run DTR for a
few laps and it would freeze. I tried everything to fix the problem without
any luck.
One of the first things I did was to check and make sure all my drivers were
current. I used the auto update included with my Diamond software, it showed
that I had the most current driver. I went to Diamond's home page and found
that I did not have the most current driver, I downloaded it and DTR runs
without a problem.
The installed driver version I had problems with was 4.11.01.0402, the new
driver (released middle of Dec.) is 4.12.01.0353.
