Don't lock up the brakes :-) It's really bad on the tires when you do. That
black trail you see in your mirror is just a lap's worth of tread shreaded
off the tires :-(

Let's say that one wheel, front, locks up but not the other. How is it
possible to fix this. Providing that i've tried softer suspension and a
number of different camber angles to the wheel that does lock up. It's
really annoying when your attempting to do a GP length race at Monza
then your gets trashed because you're braking for the Parabolica on the
15th lap, the wheel locks up, the car pulls to that direction, then you
let off the brakes then try to correct the steering and then the car
snaps to the other side and you finally meet Mr. Armco. Isn't this a
great game...
Duh... (not be taken sarcastically or harshly). Its right at the thresh
hold of skidding. The wheel will keep spinning but not at the same speed
as the other one, looks really neat from in car.

Sounds like too much weight on one tire vs another. It seems to me that I
had that problem at Kylami. To fix it I just stopped the sliding all
together by removing front brake.

Well that would do and wrap the back end around in many amusing ways at
the same time.
I'll try it though...

other it will have a tendency to lock one tire before the others. Look at
the camber and shock settings. Problem is then it won't turn as good of
laps. Find a happy medium. Sounds like you can modulate the pedal just
fine.

Isn't this a >> great game...Use a joystick ;o). Your direction corrections will be more vivid and it
seems as if this lowers the grip of the front wheels in GPL quite a lot...
If I'm right about this then you will be allowed to have a more radical
setup when using a joystick... I'm not sure it's true though, but I've
noticed that I can take corners with more ease with a wheel if I have a low
steering ratio (1:10 or 10:1, dont remember which order in GPL) and steer a
lot (work the wheel) when going into corners. It seems as if it's possible
to get understeer by working the wheel...
Remember that Papyrus used joysticks when they developed GPL... I dont know
how this have affected the physics model...
/Chrille, doesn't use a joystick, cause of the realism factor...
